GPU Compatibility
Check the algorithm, GPU driver, compute engine, and release requirements.
Compatibility has several layers
GPU use requires a supported wallet algorithm, compatible GPU and driver, the necessary compute backend, and a client build that exposes that path. Do not assume all wallets support GPU processing.
The supplied interface shows a Hashcat GPU option, a compatible-driver requirement, and VIP gating. The complete supported-device matrix and licensing terms have not been published.
Candidate limits and fallback
Hashcat can have device-specific candidate-length restrictions. If candidates are rejected, the displayed progress may not represent a complete search of all dictionary entries.
Use the supported CPU path when appropriate for a complete candidate search. Read the client warnings and do not disable operating-system security protections to install an unknown engine.
Never share recovery phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, wallet files, or password dictionaries. Prepare a sanitized support report if you need help.
